A famille rose 'dragon' bowl, late Qing dynasty/around 1900.
Round shape. Sculpted mountings for metal handles with iron red. Famille rose scrolling dragons chasing the flaming pearl amidst cloud formations. Exterior of rim with meanders, foaming waves above the footrim. Marked 'Made during the Qianlong reign' but later. Diameter 27, height 9.5 cm.
Cover and metal handles missing. Minor wear.
