Carl Hernmarck, Nationalmuseum exhibition catalog, Memorial Exhibition for Erik Fleming, Rotogravure 1955, page 18 where the model is referred to as "the excellent table silver model Flavia 2, one of the best table silver models composed in our country".
Flavia was established around 1950 by Boliden, which at the same time acquired Atelier Borgila. Flavia was a factory for industrial production of silver, initially located in Skellefteå, and after 1953 in Liljeholmen, Stockholm.
The designer Erik Fleming was employed by Flavia for a period and designed, among other things, the cutlery "Flavia".
