The outer rim decorated with seraphim, classical medallions, female mascarons and scrollwork, the center with shepherds shearing sheep in a landscape and the zodiacal symbol of a crab, representing Cancer, the underside of the plate with a portait of the Roman emperor Claudius after an engraving by Marcantonio Raimondi. Diameter 20,5 cm.
