Astrid Sylwan, born in 1970 in Antwerp, is a Swedish artist active in Stockholm. She completed her education at Konstfack, graduating in fine arts in 2005. Astrid Sylwan engages in an artistry characterized by vibrant and abstract painting on a large scale. Sylwan's work has been acclaimed with several prestigious scholarships, exhibited throughout the Nordic region, and her pieces can today be found in collections at institutions such as the Moderna Museet, Statens konstråd and Malmö konstmuseum.
