Håkan Berg, born in 1958, is a Swedish artist who lives and works in Maglehem. Håkan Berg's works are represented at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Statens konstråd, and Göteborgs konstmuseum. Håkan Berg describes his art with the words:
"An image is a language. Its smallest components can be taken apart and put together again. A color, a shape, a texture is placed next to another - and something never before said is spoken. I don't always know what I want to say until I articulate it. I have no agenda. I try to endure not knowing how it will turn out. Everything we think, feel, all our sensory perceptions, every idea, all things relate to and interact with others.
Every surface is in relation to other surfaces, every space speaks with other spaces. What we are is unthinkable without these movements." – Håkan Berg
