Nicho Södling, born in 1966 in Stockholm and raised in Norrköping with roots in Ethiopia, has established himself as a prominent Swedish artist with ten years of experience in photography. During this time, he has created portraits of notable personalities, including the politician Carl Bildt and the artist Marie-Louise Ekman.
In the work for the auction, Södling has photographed the distinguished Swedish photographer and scientist Lennart Nilsson (1922-2017), whose iconic images in medical photography are world-renowned.
