A Swedish late baroque long case clock, Christopher Hörner (active in Uppsala 1722-60), mid-18th century.

Navy blue painted case, with gilded chinoiserie decoration. Marked dial in brass and white metal, with Roman and Arabic numerals, upper part later decoration of a couple in Empire dress. The clock case is flanked by columns. Pendulum, two weights, key and winder included. Height 216.5 cm, width 46 cm, depth 25 cm. Key included.

Colour retouches. Cracks due to dryness of the material. Later decoration above the dial.
