A blue and white porcelain bowl, Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
Rounded sides, slightly flared rim, sturdy footrim. Decorated in blue and white with phoenix birds. The interior with cloud formation. Diameter 13.5 cm.
Glaze spots. Firing crack and some areas that the glaze does not cover at the footrim. Some wear. Glaze chip to the footrim.

Private Swedish collection, resident in Japan 1965-1971.
