I Madeleine Alemans konst flätas motsatser samman. Hon kombinerar verklighet med fantasi, det världsliga med det heliga och olika kulturer med varandra. Aleman är också fascinerad av historiska personer, särskilt mystiker. Konstnärens val av material och uttryck varierar, eftersom hon i den konstnärliga processen arbetar med en forskares öppenhet och iver. Ett projekt kan ta sig många olika uttryck, beroende på vad hon hittar när hon "gräver". Aleman är starkt påverkad av esoterika och psykoanalys. I sin konstnärliga praktik arbetar hon med metoder som utforskar hypnagoga tillstånd.

Madeleine Aleman har studerat vid Konstfack i Stockholm och är även certifierad bildterapeut. Hon har ställt ut i runtom Sverige, men också i Spanien, Kina och Kanada.

In Madeleine Aleman’s art, opposites intertwine. She combines real life with fantasy, the worldly with the holy, and cultures with other cultures. Aleman is also fascinated with historical individuals, particularly mystics. The artist’s choice of material and expressions varies since she approaches the artistic process with the openness and enthusiasm of a researcher. A project can take on many expressions depending on what she discovers during her research. Aleman is strongly influences by esotericism and psychoanalysis. In her artistic practice, she employs methods that explore hypnagogic states.
Madeleine Aleman has studied at Konstfack in Stockholm and is even a certified art therapist. She has exhibited all over Sweden, but also in Spain, China and Canada.
