Gilt interior. Engraved with topographic views depicting Samara and Minsk governorates, numbered cities and coat of arms. Various peasantry motifs in landscapes, K for the Caspian Sea and Cyrillic C (S) for the Black Sea. Cyrillic writing describing soil, climate and number of inhabitants. On the top of the lid, engravings of the distances between Minsk and Saint Petersburg and Minsk and Moscow and the distances Samara-Saint Petersburg and Samara-Moscow. 6.2 x 2.9 x 9.3 cm. Weight 182 g.
