Bukowskis presents a selection of objects by the power couple of Finnish design, Alvar and Aino Aalto. The couple worked both separately and collaboratively as equal partners. They believed in the principle of total design and strived to connect art with technology. The Aaltos founded their own furniture company, Artek, in 1935, which core ideas were based on investment in material, research, quality, and sustainability.
