Cecilia Ömalms arbeten handlar om proportioner och vårt förhållningssätt till dessa. Hon vill skapa möjligheter för betraktaren att se något nytt och att stiga in i något omöjligt. De digitala miljöerna är beskrivningar av ett tillstånd eller ett psyke, något obestämt, suggestivt, kanske hallucinogent. En värld som pendlar mellan det fantastiska och det förbjudna. Hon utgår från gamla förlagor och sammanfogar fragment i nya sammanhang. Det handlar om motsatser; död-levande, dröm-verklighet. Cecilia Ömalm är representerad bl a på Moderna Museet, Västerås konstmuseum och Statens Konstråd.
