A Latvian silver teapot, maker's mark of Johann Jacob Schmidt, Riga 1845.
Gilt interior. Repoussé and chased decorations. Wooden scroll handle and finial. Hinged lid. Assay master Vladimir Galkin, Riga 1844-48.
Length 29,5 cm, height 15 cm. Weight ca. 898 g.
A minor defect in the wooden finial. An insignificantly small dent in the base. The general impression is good.
