Grey painted frame, upholstered seat, armrests and medallion shape back. Carved decorations. Height to seat 40 cm, width 60 cm, total height 91 cm.
Mark of the Stockholm chairmakers guild.

Later upholstery. Later painting. Wear commensurate with age. Few cracks due to dryness of the material.

Provenance

According to the family tradition, the armchair, a heritage in the family, has belonged to the statesman and General Adlercreutz.

Count Carl Johan Adlercreutz, born on the 27 of April 1757 at Kiala Manor in Finland, died on the 21st of August 1815 and was buried in the Riddarholmen Church in Stockholm.
