A Chinese export silver three-piece tea set, late Qing dynasty, the end of the 19th century.

Set comprising a hinged lid teapot, a lidded sugar bowl and a milk jug, all with applied relief dragons among clouds. Handles decorated with acanthus leaves, dragon head finials.
Teapot height 24 cm, the width of the sugar bowl 15 cm handles included, milk jug height 10.5 cm. Total weight ca. 1436 g. Marked TAI and in Chinese characters: Beijing, Mount Tai, pure silver.

Few insignificant dents and a few slightly bent feet. The handle of the teapot with a minor repair. A minor hole/ manufacturing defect in one of the clouds of the sugar bowl.
