Countess Emanuela Potocka (1852-1930), was born princess Pignatelli di Cerchiara, an Italian noblewoman, who married a Polish count and was famed for her salon in Paris at the end of the 19th Century. Her salon was immortalised by i.e. de Maupassant, Proust and Bourget.
