Michele Priuli (1565-1637) came from a wealthy Venetian family, which was possibly originally rooted from a Hungarian noble family.
Priuli acted as the Procurator of San Marco in Venice in the 17th Century. He is mentioned in e.g. the publications of Francesco Verdizotti, De' Fatti Veneti (in 1644) and Giovanni Maria Vanti, Oracolo per la creatione del serenissimo prencipe di Venetia Antonio Priuli (in 1618).
