Provenance
The Lidvall family lived in St Petersburg, where the father worked as the tailor of the Imperial Court. His brother was the famous architect Fredrik Lidvall, also living in St Petersburg at the time. The Imperial Court Tailor was also the great grandfather of the owner of this piece.
