A VASE.

Fennia series. Stylized geometric pattern. Arabic 1902-17. Height 33 cm.
The decorations on the Fennia series were originally designed specifically for the North American market. The local importer, Mr. Samuel, commissioned in 1900 a complete collection of decorative design. Speculations of designers has been Gezelius-Lindgren-Saarinen, for example, in addition to Akseli Gallen-Kallela and Jac. Ahrenberg.
