The original bowls are missing.
Later replaced bowls and later candle holders.

Julius Alexandrovich Rappoport (1864 - 1916)
The Russian silversmith Julius Rappoport was among the most talented craftsmen of his time, becoming one of Fabergé's most sought-after silversmiths at a young age. One of very few Fabergé craftsmen of Jewish origins, Rappoport was trained in Berlin and opened his own workshop at Ekatarinski Canal in St. Petersburg in 1883, just 19 years old. Though most famous for his naturalistic animal figures in silver, there has always been a great demand for all Rappoport's pieces. He also executed many special commissions, designed by Fabergé himself, for the Imperial Family and the Imperial Cabinet. Rappoport's designs are known for elaborately detailed chased ornamentation and complex compositions, often drawing on neo-classical or Rococo elements.
