Gutte Eriksen was a Danish ceramist. She was educated at the Art Academy in Århus, Jutland and also studied under Bernard Leach at St Ives. She also undertook study trips to Japan. Gutte Eriksen had her workshop in St Karlsminde, Hundested, Zealand. She produced a highly personal, powerful ceramics in both earthenware and stoneware, often with a thick borax glaze in varying shades. She participated in many international exhibitions and is represented at several major museums. Gutte Eriksen worked as a teacher at the Art Academy in Århus between the years 1968-1978.
