A Finnish folkart long pile rug dated 1927. Circa 170 x 130 cm.
The date 1927 is at the bottom of the central field. The blue background is decorated with a cross pattern and zigzag stripes.
Originally blue was expensive and not easily available. But by 1929 it was more affordable.
Back reinforced. Slight fading of the pile. Wear due to age and use. Minor damages.
