A Finnish folkart long pile Ryijy-rug dated 1959-1796 after Punkalaiduin model. Circa 164 x 125 cm.
Repetition. The dates 1959 - 1796 are at the top of the central part. The central section is decorated with tulips and palmettes. Narrow stripes and triangles in the border. The back is marked with the weaver's name Vieno Orlow.
Wear due to age and use. Minor wear.
