Osvald Eslon var en estnisk målare, som fick sin konstutbildning i München 1918–1919 hos professor Adolf Hengel. Han fortsatte sin utbildning som stipendiat av Government Foundation for the Fine Arts i Italien i slutet av 1920-talet och studerade även Paris och London. Han var medlem i Estonian Artists 'Union and the New Artists' Association från 1923 till 1928.
1944 under andra världskriget flydde han undan nazisterna till Sverige och sedan vidare till Toronto i Kanada 1949. Han målade fina och mycket stämningsfulla stadsbilder, främst från Stockholm, liksom havs- och landskapsbilder och kompositioner, främst i akvarell.
