In honor of the 75th anniversary, Asko produced a numbered series of the factory's successful furniture from the 1930s using original working methods and materials.
The original name of the model chosen as anniversary furniture was Rehtori, but since the name Pormestari, which is actually a slightly heavier model, had become a general name for this type of furniture, it was decided to sell the furniture under the name Pormestari.
The sofa is a sample, in which the joiners at Asko made the first suspensions and working steps for the original materials before the production of the actual series began.
1/75 of the furniture was donated to the Lahti museum.
Sofa length 174 cm. Seat height 45 cm. Total height 77 cm.
