A Japanese lacquer three-tier 'Jubako' (food container) with stand, presumably early 20th century.
Jubako in black lacquer black inlays in gold in hiramakie technique. The stand with red lacquer. Length 22, width 22, height 24 cm. Stand length 27, width 27, height 6.5 cm.
Wear. Minor marks and loss of laqcuer. The tray not original. The lid is curved.
