First edition of Frithiof’s saga

Stockholm, tryckt hos direct. H. A. Nordström, 1825. 8vo. (17,4 x 10,8 cms.) 168 pp. + engraved title + errata leaf.

Later half red morocco, spine richly gilt with raised bands, marbled sides and endleaves. Insignificant wear and a small stain to binding. Engraved title with traces of wiping of the plate, and a faint stain, minimal corner loss to one leaf, leaves H1-2 with marginal repair, leaf H3 with pin size hole.

First edition, rare complete and well-preserved as in this case.
