A very attractive copy. Contemporary black cordovan morocco gilt, covers with central oval arabesque and double fillet border with lilies in the corners, all edges gilt. Some slight spotting to quires K and L. Interesting provenance inscriptions on front endpapers: Note in ink that the book was purchased at the Marten sale in March, 1737, bookplate of Johan Henric Schröder (1791-1857), ownership insctiption by Thore Virgin dated 1947 and his stamp ”Bibliotheca Qvarnforsiana”, bookplate of Kurt Winberg.

Warmholtz 4164. ”Manifest” justifying the war with Denmark and Torstensson’s attack. Also published in German, Swedish and Dutch versions.
