Made by small manufacturer Sarasa Co., in Gokuji, Tokyo. Conceived and proposed by Claesson Koivisto Rune when architects for the Hotel Skeppsholmen in Stockholm as in-room water glass. Stacking so that the plate can be put on top of the glass to make a dust lid. Prototypes, never put into production.
Claesson Koivisto Rune is a Swedish architecture and design studio founded in 1995 by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto, and Ola Rune.
