Stockholm, Kumblinska tryckeriet, 1797. 4to. (25 x 20 cms.) XIV + 224 pp. + 10 engraved plates. Engraved vignette on title and 24 engravings in text.

Near-contemporary half calf, slightly worn. Title foxed, occasional scattered spotting, a line in ink on page 3, two leaves with strengthening of gutter (pp. 92-3), old small repair to gutter of pp. 140-1. A stain to foot of final few leaves, mainly noticeable on rear flyleaf. Ownership inscription of J. F. A. Ågren and bookplate of Carl von Platen.

Bring, Itineraria Svecana, 251. The first Swedish ”Voyage pittoresque”, influenced by English books and Linnerhielm’s friend Elias Martin, who spent many years in England.
