Glazed inlightblue and green, signedR O Alberius Sweden and number (blurred). Height 18,5 cm, diameter ca 18 cm.
Minor glaze crazing and small firing cracks.
Designer
Olle Alberius was a Swedish designer and glass artist. From 1963 to 1971, Alberius was associated with Rörstrands Porslinsfabrik, where he worked partly with works of art, partly with tableware. From 1971 he was active at Orrefors glassworks, where he designed both classic tableware such as Victoria (1978) and Erik (1974), art glass in the Ariel and Graal technique as well as cut crystal sculptures.
