In the beginning of the 1990s Timo Sarpaneva worked at the Venini glass factory on the islands of Murano. He had been looking for a maestro to work with for a while when he stumbled upon a skilfully made glass artwork made by Pino Signoretto. They started to collaborate in 1996 and created an impressive collection of colourful and bright glass sculptures.
