The blue and green sculpture signed 726022 KOSTA BODA Kjell Engman Lim. ed. 100 ex, the other two signed 7267023 and 7267024 Kosta Boda Limited 100 Kjell Engman. Height 41,5, 46,5 and 48 cm.
Viewing at Bukowskis, Berzelii Park 1, Tuesday February 18 - Saturday February 22, 2020.
Opening hours weekdays 11-18, Saturday 11-16.

Designer
Kjell Engman is a Swedish glass artist born in Stockholm 1946. He studied at Konstfack (University of Arts, Crafts and Design) and at Pilchuck, USA. Since 1978, Engman has been a designer at Kosta Boda. His glasswork is characterized by vibrant colors and playful shapes. His design language often deals with musical instruments and motifs from the animal and plant kingdoms. He frequently works on larger installations where glass is combined with elements such as sound and light. Kjell is widely commissioned for public art projects both in Sweden and internationally. He has an incredible ability to freeze time and immortalize moments of movement in glass.
