Smörgåsspadarnas längd 18 cm, bägarens höjd 7,5 cm med gravyr på livet samt undertill, vikt ca 128 resp 114,9 gram

Wear due to age and use. Scratches. Later engraving.

Designer

Wiwen Nilsson was a Swedish designer born in Copenhagen. He studied at his father's workshop, as well as in Germany, Denmark, and France. Nilsson is primarily known for his objects created in silver with geometric, clean, and austere forms. Nilsson debuted at the Gothenburg Exhibition in 1923. At the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930, he had his major breakthrough, and his innovative modernism was a success. Nilsson created, among other things, jewellery, table silver, and services.
