Anders Zorn – the master of etching

Few other artists can demonstrate the same skillfulness within several different techniques as Anders Zorn – the eminent artist handle aquarelle with easiness, brush on canvas and etching like few others. At his death Zorn had component over 280 pieces of etchings where some were inspired of his earlier work, while others are created directly on the canvas where he with showers with strokes shaped the motive. Historically, Bukowskis has auctioned several of Zorn’s etchings due to we have had the sole right to sell them – and yet again we have the pleasure to present a wide selection of his captivating work. The motives strains from his entire repertoire: from friendship portraits to genre and naked studies, which all were etched between 1883 and 1919.
