From Scotland to Skåne – A Noble Family's Home Part I

Families come and go, homes are packed up and moved to new regions. In this auction, we will follow the journey of the noble Murray family across Europe, from Scotland through Prussia, ultimately settling in the quiet town of Lund. The family was introduced to Sweden in 1812 (extinct by 1934) with the number 2216 in the Riddarhuset archive. Many items in the themed auction come with detailed notes about who owned them and where they have been. We hope you find it interesting to explore these objects, as many small, simple items offer a fascinating and intriguing glimpse into their time.

Consignment is now open for our upcoming live auction, Important Spring Sale, on 11–13 June.
