Barbie and friends

A themed auction featuring one of Barbie's rare predecessors, "Bild-Lilly". Of course, you’ll also find Barbie herself, along with her friends Midge, Skipper, Ken, and Allan.

Barbie is more relevant than ever with the premiere of her film in July 2023, and the largest exhibition ever at the Design Museum in London, "Barbie, the exhibition", opening on July 5, 2024.

Barbie made her debut at the New York Toy Fair in March 1959. The iconic doll was created by Ruth Handler, one of the founders of Mattel, inspired by the German doll Lilli that she discovered in a toy shop in Lucerne, Switzerland. Handler wanted to create a doll with more adult proportions, as her daughter Barbie had started to show interest in dolls with a more mature appearance. After bringing Lilli back from Switzerland, Handler made some adjustments, and thus Barbie was born.

Welcome to place your bid on your favourites from Barbie's pink world.
