An antique Russian brooch, 1908-1917
In 14K gold and silver with a cabochon-cut sapphire, old-cut diamonds, and calibre-cut sapphires, dimensions ca 40 X 27 mm, weight 9 g. With Russian assay mark for gold.
Some of the small sapphires are synthetic. Wear commensurate with age and use. Wear due to age and use.
Provenance
Blanche Bonde née Dickson (1875-1960), daughter of Blanche Dickson (1852-1906) who built Tjolöholm.
