A 'Blue Fluted Plain' / 'Musselmalet' porcelain sugar box with cover, model 434, 1898-1923.

Oval with fluted relief, decoration in underglaze blue. Shell shaped finial with wave. Handles. Marked "1/434" blue painter's signature "18." green stamp "Royal Copenhagen". Height 10, length 15.5 cm. The model originally called "Sukkerdåse, oval" modeller J. Jacobsen February 1897.

Crack to the rim.
