Gustavsberg 200 years

On the occasion of Gustavsberg's 200th anniversary, a themed auction is presented here with objects connected to the renowned porcelain factory on the island of Värmdö outside Stockholm. Many of the factory’s most important designers are represented with ceramic works, such as Wilhelm Kåge, Lisa Larson, Stig Lindberg, Gunnar Wennerberg, Berndt Friberg and many more. During the 20th century, the old porcelain factory grew into a major industry with a broad and varied production. With the present themed auction, we intend to highlight this breadth, with a focus on artistic production. Don't miss the model studies from Wilhelm Kåge's estate, or the photo album with rare images from the factory's successful exhibitions during the 1940s.

Consignments are ongoing for our upcoming live auction Modern Art & Design, 20–21 May.
