More information

Fila was a highly reputable clothing brand in the sports industry during the 1970s. Björn Borg had his own design with the striped FILA clothes. Fila attempted to contract Björn with a racket from FILA in 1977 or 1978. They used Björn's competition rackets from Donnay as a model and then produced six entirely unique rackets under the FILA brand. They were strung with Babolat WS natural gut 8.5 and featured the long leather grip from Fairway, which was originally a golf wrap.
There is a certificate of authenticity briefly described and signed by Björn Borg. The shaft is also signed by Björn Borg.
