Anders Pehrson (1912-1982). He was born in Gothenburg and later became an engineer. Pehrson was the Design manager at Philips AB from 1952 to 1963.
In 1963 he became the owner but also the head of design at ateljé Lyktan. He remained there until 1978. Pehrson's guiding principles regarding design were form, function, color, and family.
Pehrson became known not only as a talented designer but he was also very skilled at marketing his business. The lamp model Pehrson is most well known for today is probably his design 'Bumlingen'. Bumlingen has been produced in countless variations and colors over the years.
