Lis Ehrenreich is a Danish ceramist. She studied at the Jutland Art Academy in Århus from 1976-1981. Lis Ehrenreich established her first workshop in Århus in 1981. She throws her ceramics in powerful shapes and uses thick, bubbly borax-based glazes and various types of ash glazes, such as those from straw and elm wood. Lis Ehrenreich had her first solo exhibition in Copenhagen in 1980 and has since exhibited both in Denmark and internationally.
