The overall impression is good. Insignificant nicks on the handle.
Ulf Johansson was a Swedish ceramist and artist. He was educated at Konstfack, Stockholm from 1961-1966 and in 1965 at Kyoto City College of Fine Arts, Japan. He began his career with utility ceramics in Arvika before starting his own business in Arboga in 1969. He also taught at Konstfack in the 1990s. Gradually, Ulf Johansson shifted eventually to be working more with genuuine art ceramics, often glazed in raku. He has exhibited numerous times both in Sweden and internationally and is represented at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Röhsska Museet, among other Swedish and international collections.
