Her design language carries an international influence rooted in her deep interest in other cultures. Love for people and nature forms the basis of everything she does. Hilland emphasizes collaborating with skilled craftsmen and enjoys exploring new techniques to create objects of the highest quality.

Over the years, Hilland has collaborated with numerous leading design brands while also creating independent designs, including for her brand, Myhlta.
– I’ve noticed that objects I've designed myself or for clients like Svenskt Tenn, Orrefors, and Gemla now have a resale value and are sold at auctions.
