In the Autumn of 2022 Svenskt Tenn presented the collaboration with one of France's most renowned architects and interior designers, India Mahdavi. The Jelly Pea model is India Mahdavi's most sculptural sofa, created as a reminiscence of the womb, the nest, and the home. The shape of the sofa is inspired by the well-known jelly candy, Jelly Pea.
India Mahdavi is an Iranian-born architect and designer. Mahdavi has been active in France for many years and has had her own design-studio in Paris for over two decades. She has a self-designed production of furniture and interior details and has collaborated with other designers aswell.
