This year’s beverage auction starts with a special theme – whiskey. The whiskey beverage is in the footlight and takes up one third of all objects in the auction. At the moment there is a boom in the world of whiskey – in particular an increase of the demand on collector’s items, but also several top quotations has been registered on the auction arena around the world. In March there will be a focus on whiskey of all kinds and origins, whereas a big majority of these are today very hard to get hold on.
Except from whiskey, there will also be a lot of other distillate such as cognac from 1865, vintage champagne, classic Bordeaux and Bourgogne, along with several bottles of red wines from Italy.
The viewing starts at February 23rd. All together there will be 1,300 auctions, which will be auctioned off until the final days in March 5–7th.
