Six lobed reverse decorated with different flowers and stylized patterns in each lobe, central cavetto with a shou character against a lotus pond. The reverse further decorated with bamboo, pine and cherry blossom. Hallmark to base. Diameter c. 21.3 cm. Japanese wooden box accompanies this lot. Measure wooden box 54x26x26.5 cm.

Provenance

Purchased in the late 1950's from the collection of Raoul af Geijerstam who collected Chinese Works of Art when he worked for Perstorp AB in Japan in the early 1950's. Since then within the family.
