Krishna Reddy (1925–2018) was a pioneering Indian-born American printmaker, sculptor, and teacher, renowned for developing a unique viscosity color printing technique. Born in Andhra Pradesh, India, he trained at Santiniketan under Nandalal Bose, later studying under masters like Henry Moore and Ossip Zadkine in Europe, and becoming co-director of the famous Atelier 17 in Paris.
Celebrated artist, wandering scholar, and tireless innovator, Krishna Reddy stands as a key figure in India’s journey through Modernism.
