With inscription verso: "The above oil painting depicting a café interior from Gothenburg's harbour, was executed by Ivar Arosenius in Stockholm in 1904. Certified: Stockholm 10 Dec 1929 Ernst Spolén." The architect Ernst Spolén (1880-1974) was a close friend and brother-in-law of Ivar Arosenius.
